Cocoon gives you a convenient Silverdale base for a suitably sized vehicle, boat or trailer without leaving it permanently parked outside your house.

Check every fixed fitting and projecting point before you send us the details.
Measure the overall length
For a vehicle, measure from its furthest point at the front to its furthest point at the rear. For a boat or trailer, measure from the front of the trailer coupling to the furthest point at the rear, including the outboard, drawbar or any projecting equipment.
Measure the overall width
Measure the widest part of the complete vehicle or trailer, including mirrors, wheels, guards and fixed fittings. Folding mirrors in may reduce the required width, but make sure there is still enough clearance to enter and exit safely.
Measure the overall height
Measure from the ground to the highest fixed point, including roof racks, aerials, windscreens, canopies, rails or other fittings.

What size unit is suitable for a vehicle or boat?+
Only our Large 6 × 3m units are suitable for appropriately sized vehicles, boats and trailers. The roller door opening is 2560mm wide × 2560mm high.
What types of vehicles can be stored?+
Depending on their dimensions, the units may be suitable for cars, classic vehicles, motorcycles, smaller recreational or work vehicles, boats and trailers. Always provide the complete measurements before enquiring.
Can you guarantee my vehicle or boat will fit?+
Vehicles, boats and trailers vary considerably, so we cannot guarantee fit based on the model or type alone. Measure the complete length, width and height and send us the details before moving in.
Is the storage fully enclosed?+
Yes. Your vehicle, boat or trailer is stored inside a private unit behind its own roller door.
Can I drive directly to my unit?+
Yes. Every Cocoon unit is at ground level, allowing you to drive directly to the door.
When can I access my vehicle or boat?+
Customer access is available seven days a week from 6am–9pm.
Can I store equipment in the unit too?+
Yes, provided everything fits safely inside the unit. Depending on the size of your vehicle or boat, you may also have room for tools, spare parts, covers, fishing equipment, lifejackets and other related gear.
Do I need to supply my own lock?+
Yes. You provide your own lock and retain the key.
